Zinc Extra Biofertilizers in Wettable Powder formulation contain Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria that produce organic acids to convert insoluble forms of zinc into a readily available form for plants. In alkaline soil, the positively charged zinc ions become less available due to conversion into a negatively charged zinc complex. The organic acids produced by the Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria in Zinc Extra break down the zinc complex, lower the pH, and make the zinc available for plants.
