Daman (L)

Daman - L is a natural bio-insecticide in liquid formulation containing, entomopathogenic fungi. It effectively controls insects pests like Root borer, caterpillars and sucking pests.

Highly effective on Lepidopterous Caterpillars, including Helicoverpa, Spodoptera, Borers, Bollworm and Hairy Caterpillars etc.

Beauveria bassiana conidia present in Daman produces enzymes to penetrate the skin of the insect. Once it grows inside the insect, releases toxin called Beauvericin and Oosporin that weakens the host’s immune system. Eventually the entire insect body cavity is filled with fungal mass. Insects, before death exhibit various symptoms including restlessness, cessation of feeding and loss of coordination

Foliar spray – It can be applied @ 1 L per acre in 150-200 liters of water. As a foliar spray apply uniformly over crop using a hand sprayer or power sprayer with an appropriate hollow cone nozzle for fine mist generation.
Soil application – Mix 1 L in 100-200 kg of well decomposed fym/compost/field soil and broadcast in the field of 1 acre at the time of field preparation or in standing crop.
